19-MAR-26 - FOSTER - 03/19/26 16:39 Foster note: Mayah is extremely sweet. She has been with us for over a month and continues to be a joy in our home. She loves the little senior dogs and also our big pittbull. She doesn’t bark or cause any problems. I cannot think of one bad thing to say about her. She just wants to lay and snuggle all day. She lays on the bed, or the couch, or one of the dog beds. She gets really excited to go for walks and car rides. She loves to have her head hanging out the window while we drive around. She listens to everything you say very well. She has been great with kids around the neighborhood. I think she would blend into any type of family she would be placed into very well and quickly.

05-FEB-26 - FOSTER - 02/05/26 10:51 Foster note: Mayah is the sweetest dog. She always just wants to snuggle and be as close to you as possible. She gets along great with my 2 old little senior dogs as well as our pitbull. All 4 of them have been sleeping with us in bed at night and she’s sleeps all night. She is potty trained and goes outside to go. She loves to run around and play in the backyard. I haven’t heard her bark once. She’s very quiet and calm. Mayah loves to eat her snacks and go for walks. There is nothing bad to say about this dog.

31-DEC-25 - INTERACT - 12/31/25 10:58 Mayah was standing with loose body posture when staff approached. She was easy to leash and walked with a moderate pull. She did not show any reactivity. In the yard, Mayah walked around while constantly wagging her tail. She ran up to and jumped on staff before running off a few times. Once a bit more settled, Mayah did not leave staff and sat between staff's legs or right in front of. Mayah understood "sit" and was gentle when taking treats. She showed strong interest in staff's treat bag. Mayah demonstrated some resistance when staff tried to release her back to her kennel. Staff had to step inside the kennel so that she would follow suit. -KR-
