09-DEC-25 - Interact - 12/09/25 14:40 Per volunteer: Molie walked out to the yard with a mild pull, ignoring other dogs along the way. Once in the yard, she sniffed around and played with squeekie toys. When I threw the toys, she chased them and ran around with them in her mouth. She occasionally came up and allowed for pets all over with a loose body and wagging tail. She walked back to her kennel with a slight pull and was easy to unleash.

26-NOV-25 - Interact - 11/24/25 Per volunteer: Molie was easy to leash and walked without pulling. She chased toys as long as they squeaked (she showed no interest in toys that didn’t squeak), and then sat down to squeak one toy. She accepted pets while squeaking her toy and rolled over for belly rubs. She began exit seeking so we went into the garden, where she sniffed around for just a minute or two and then began sniffing alongside the fence and looking into the parking lot, so we walked in the parking lot. She walked easily without pulling and took directional corrections well, and then returned to her kennel without issues.

18-NOV-25 - Foster - 11/18/25 15:31 - Foster Feedback Adeventure Tail We took Molie Guacamole out on Saturday. I didn't see anywhere to upload her pics on the website so I am attaching them here. We took her to three parks: Pebble Park, Riverview Civic Center Park, and the Bertha and Tony Saladino Park. She did great at all three! Super friendly with my kids and everyone who passed by. She had a very gentle demeanor. The only thing we think she could use some training on is not pulling on the leash. We also took her to Starbucks for a pup cup and to Einstein Bros. Bagels for a free doggy bagel. She was able to drink and eat out of our hands so definitely a kid-safe pet! MC

17-NOV-25 - Interact - 11/17/25 Molie met staff at front of kennel with loose body posture and tail wags. Molie allowed for easy leashing and had no pull on the leash. In the yard Molie enjoyed running around with squeaky toys and playing tug of war. Molie would fetch toys, return them, but no drop them. She would allow staff to grab toys from her, but would play a bit of tug of war before releasing. In between chasing toys Molie would solicited staff attention, sitting in between their legs to receive pets. Molie walked with no pull back to her kennel and had no reaction to other passing dogs. Molie was returned and unleashed with ease. AR

05-NOV-25 - Interact - 11/05/25 11:32 Molie was eager to be leashed when staff approached kennel. She was easy to leash. She did pull hard to the yard, consistently choking herself. In the yard, she enjoyed playing with the toys, but prefered the stuffed toy. She engaged with staff, playing fetch with a wagging tail. Molie knows "sit" and takes treats gently from staff hands. When walking back to kennel, a citizen stopped to talk to staff and Molie was well behaved during the encounter (staff did not let Molie close, but Molie did not lunge or bark, she didn't pay any mind to the citizen). -AA

26-OCT-25 - Interact - 10/23/25 Per volunteer: Molie Guacamole (A2084692) leashed easily and walked well to the yard. She chased toys and played fetch; especially enjoying catching a bouncing tennis ball. She did well in training and was gentle taking treats. She climbed the ramp to sit at the top getting treats and pets. She enjoyed running and exploring the garden, playing in the plants and climbing on the waterfall. She came up to sit with me getting pets before returning to her kennel.

22-OCT-25 - Interact - 10/22/25 11:46 Molie Guacamole had a loose body and wagging tail when staff approached. She began to jump and whine as staff unlocked the door. Molie was easy to leash. She walked with a moderate-to-strong pull, and performed frequents stops to sniff her surroundings. In the yard, Molie largely kept to herself. Molie ran around the yard, marking frequently. She did not approach staff unless called persistently. Staff could not get Molie to look at staff despite numerous attempts. When another staff member passed by the play yard, Molie stared at and focused on that staff member. Molie is currently under treatment and treat behavior could not be assessed. She was easy to return to her kennel. -KR-

13-OCT-25 - Foster - 10/13/25 12:19 Foster note: Molie is such a sweet, brave and charming girl! Her tail never stopped wagging from the moment I picked her up for our short weekend. She hopped right into the car and sat nicely in the back seat. She did great on our drives and stayed in her seat all on her own. She loved exploring our home, she has curiosity but she is also very respectful. She is potty trained and will let you know when she wants to go outside. She is a very smart girl. She didn’t try to get into anything or make a mess. She did not get up on the furniture unless she was invited, and when she did sit with us on the couch she was a sweet snuggle bug. She loved running around in the backyard chasing squirrels but she did not bark at them. She found her squeaky toy at home after and showed off the cutest happy dances and wiggles. After dinner when we invited her up on the couch with us she liked to nuzzle up and give kisses, she is super affectionate. Then she stretched out on the ground in front of the tv to watch the screen. She did great through the night in her own bed in our room. She may have been a little nervous being in a new place but when she realized she could see me from her spot she settled back in. She had no accidents in the house. We also went to a pumpkin patch but the crowd was a bit overwhelming. She did great when children came up to pet her (one at a time), she seemed happy with them. I think she was overwhelmed by seeing the other dogs and the amount of people. We left and went to our neighborhood park where she did so great and loved every moment. The leash pulling when she saw another dog wore off the more time we spent outside. She was easier to redirect after she got some energy out. I believe she can learn to stop pulling if she had a safe home to decompress and a patient human to reinforce her many positive skills. She is loyal and sweet. Whoever adopts this pretty girl will fall in love. She is ready for her forever home, and when she finds it she will be so grateful and love the person who gives her a chance more than they could even imagine.

08-OCT-25 - Interact - 10/08/25 16:11 As staff walked up to her kennel, she was excited but easy to leash. She had a slight pull as we were walking past the other dogs in the kennels but wasn't reactive towards them. She loved playing with all the toys in the yard and knows her name. She had a slight pull on the way back to her kennel but was easy to unleash. KL

30-SEP-25 - Foster - 09/30/25 16:50 Adventure Tail: Molie Guacamole’s just a very sweet dog. We had a great day. For an older dog, her energy was impressive. We did a lot of walking. I did finally get her to sploot in the clubhouse. Molie is an affectionate dog. She loves pets and I made sure she got a lot. I told her how special she is and that we are trying hard for her!
