15-MAY-26 - Foster - 05/15/26 11:02 - foster feedback - adoption event - Connor was friendly with people and was not reactive with other dogs around him. He seemed to get slightly overwhelmed when multiple people were near him but would allow for pets. As time went on he started to dissociate from the people around him that were interested and started heading back towards the parking lot to go back into the car. Overall, he was friendly but near the end he started to shut down mc

08-MAY-26 - Foster - 05/08/26 14:38 - foster note - CONNOR has been a delightful dog these past couple of days in foster! A couple of things about Connor: fully house-trained, friendly with everyone he meets, non-reactive towards other dogs, no separation anxiety, walks very well on the leash,an excellent car rider - I could go on and on! We have only had him for a couple of days, but he has adjusted to our routines from the start. We have a large chair in the room for our foster dogs, and he has not gotten onto it. He is a very sweet, gentle, quiet dog who will fit in easily in almost any home!

29-APR-26 - Interact - 04/29/26 13:30 Staff approached Connor's kennel to be greeted promptly, Leashing was easy and manageable. The walk to the Play Yard had a lot of misdirection, pulling and tugging with no reaction towards the other dog. In the Play yard Connor explored his new surroundings and made his markings around the Yard, after a bit and learning his new area he displayed Loose Body Behavior also allowed head and body pets and accepted treats by hand from staff. The walk back from the Play yard there was less tugging and pulling. Connor returned to his kennel with no hesitation. MA

22-APR-26 - Interact - 04/18/26 09:26 After play group Connor was brought to the Volunteer Room. Connor spent the day in the Volunteer Room. He greeted all of the volunteers that came through. Connor would sit on command and took treats nicely. When he was not greeting the volunteers, he would sleep next to my desk. Connor was not interested in my food when I ate lunch or when I left the office. He was very relaxed while he was in the office. Connor let me know when he needed to go out and walked with a slight pull until we were outside. Then he walked calmly on the leash. He was easy to return the kennel. - CL

19-APR-26 - Interact - 04/16/26 Per volunteer: Connor came to the gate, stood calmly for leashing and went to the yard with just a slight pull. In the yard, he sniffed around for a few minutes and then came over and sat for treats. He sat each time a treat was offered and took the treats gently. While eating a treat he allowed pets on his head, neck, behind his ears, shoulders and back. He began exit seeking after several minutes of eating treats and sniffing, so we went for a walk in the parking lot. He walked easily on the leash, looking around but not pulling towards anything. When he got to the end of the leash and felt a little bit of tension, he would return back towards me so that there was never any real tension on the leash. He didn’t show any interest in sniffing anything, and just strolled along enjoying the sunshine. When the walk was over, he went back to his kennel without pulling

15-APR-26 - Foster - 04/15/26 09:27 Connor is a very sweet gentle dog.He is low energy, well behaved. Walks well on leash, gets along well with other dogs and he rides well in the car. It was easy to give him a bath, clean his ears. He is the definition of The PERFECT DOG!! He followed me everywhere around the house maybe because he preferred human interaction than playing with other dogs. SWS

10-APR-26 - Interact - 04/10/26 17:36 Connor was sitting quietly in his kennel and was easy to leash. Connor came out for my volunteer group today. He meet the group in front play yard. Connor was eager to meet all of the volunteers and ran from person to person for pets. He did pause and watch the garbage trucks go by. Connor would then resume seeking pets from each person. He had no issue with the larger group. Connor walked well on the leash back into PRC, where he spent the rest of the day in the volunteer room greeting everyone who came in. He even took a nap in the dog bed while i was working. He was easy to return to his kennel.- CL
