06-JUN-25 - Note - Adopter is returning due to landlord no allowing pets. Adopter mentioned that Corta did great with house hold including 3y daughter. Corta seems eager to learn , very attentive with treats present, and she did not have any accidents in the home.

28-MAY-25 - Interact - 05/28/25 17:24 Corta/lily was laying on top of her kennel when staff came by and then she greeted staff with a loose body and loose tail, She was easy to leash and tugged a bit. Surrounding dog started to bark but she paid no attention. While in the yard she immediately, started to jump on staff for attention. She tried to sniff staffs notebook, but staff gave her a treat and immediately got down. She ran around. She saw other dogs and she immediately barked at them. She was easy to leash and easy to put back. -AR

24-MAY-25 - Note - 05/24/25 10:51 Dog was very friendly and easy to handle. She walked up to people who walked by with a wagging tail soliciting attention. She didn't pull much on the leash and sat on command. - JP

11-DEC-24 - Interact - 12/09/24 Per volunteer: Topeka was easy to leash, staying very close, looking up, being playful and underfoot most of the way. She chased toys, played tug and came up to play bow often, wanting to play chase. She frequently sought affection and tummy rubs, jumping up during them, ready to play. She did understand some training; especially sit and was gentle with treats. She enjoyed running around sniffing the garden, playing among the plants climbing out on the waterfall; while still coming up often for more pets. She jumped up beside me on a rock to sit close, licking my face and getting pets. She walked much better through the lot and back to her kennel.

11-DEC-24 - Interact - 12/11/24 12:52 Topeka had a meet and greet with two adults and their young child, she allowed the child and adults to pet her all over and had submissive body language throughout the interaction, slowly wagging her tail and sitting against staff and citizens exposing her stomach. Once Topeka began to get comfortable she began to climb on staff's laps attempting to lick their face and soliciting pets from everyone in the room and gently taking treats. Topeka walked back to her kennel with no issues.
