Comment: 30-APR-25 - Interact - 04/30/25 13:12 - When staff went to get Luca from his kennel he was jumping at the gate. It took staff a moment to leash him as he kept jumping a moving around. Once staff was able to leash him he walked well to the AD play yard. In the yard he sniffed around for a little bit. He played with the toys that were in the yard. Wasn’ t interested in treats that were offered to him. He was no issue returning him to his kennel. BP
Comment: 23-APR-25 - Interact - 4/22/25 Per volunteer: Luca was jumping and spinning when he first exited the kennel then had a moderate pull. In the garden, he alternated between playing with a stuffy and sniffing around.
Comment: 11-APR-25 - Interact - 4/10/25 Per volunteer: Luca pulled with lots of energy on the leash on the way to the garden. He ran around and sniffed in the garden. Luca was a bit shy of being petted but chased toys that were thrown for him. He pulled again on the leash on the way back to the kennel, and sniffed the dogs that he passed along the way.
Comment: 02-APR-25 - Interact - Luca greeted at the kennel door with a loose body and was jumping at the gate. When staff went to leash him he tried to put his mouth on the leash. Staff distracted him with a treat and was able to leash with no other issues. Ran around the yard and solicited attention from staff member. Want really interested in the toys that were in the yard. Luca is working on “sit” but is getting the hang of it. He walked well back to kennel and was easy to return. BP
Comment: 27-MAR-25 - Interact - Pt was barking as i approached kennel, tail wagging, excited and jumping while trying to leash but i had no issues. Pulled and jumped around while walking on leash. Took treats gently, allowed us to apply mediation and weigh easily. Responde well to treats and affection. Easy to remove leash when returned to kenne. AC
Comment: 26-MAR-25 - Interact - 03/26/25 13:35 Per volunteer: Luca was quiet at the kennel foor then started jumping immediately once out of the kennel. He was able to calm quickly then walked with a moderate pull and no reaction to the other dogs, as he was walked far from the kennels. He explored the yard and took a few minutes to tart engaging with toys. He ran around with a rope toy. He took treats gently but did not eat them. He began jumping when leashing him in the yard and had the same behavior upon kennel return. He was easy to unleash.
Comment: 26-MAR-25 - Interact - 03/26/25 16:24 Luca was jumping at the kennel gate when staff approached to take him out. He was easy to leash and pulled very hard to the yard. In the yard, he ran around with a loose body posture. He had some interest in toys, only playing with them for a couple seconds at a time. He did come over to the staff a few times for pets. He was easily returned to his kennel. -ZM
Comment: 19-MAR-25 - Interact - 03/19/25 12:58 - Luca greeted staff member at the kennel door with a loose body and was jumping at the gate. When staff went to leas him, he did mouth at the leash a little bit but once leash was on, he stopped. He had a hard pull on the leash to the yard but once in the yard he walked around and solicited attention from staff. He was a little bit rough taking treats from staff but better when using an open palm. Learning how to “sit” when asked. Wasn’t really interested in the toys that were in the yard. He did come over and put his front feet in staff’s lap to get attention. He walked with a hard pull back to his kennel and was no issues returning. BP
Comment: 19-MAR-25 - Interact - 03/19/25 Luca has began leash biting in the catch pen when leaving playgroup the last few times he has came out. Once walking out, he drops the leash. -CR
Comment: 02-FEB-25 - Interact - 2/1/25 Per volunteer: Luca was easy to leash and he came out with a pretty strong pull. He walked with a medium pull, ignoring other dogs along the way. He came to me for a few pets, but didn't seek them out. He wasn't interested in the treats or the toys. He was interested in a dog in the adjoining yard in a friendly way and wanted to fence run. He would run around the yard with me. Luca was easy to return and unleash in his kennel.
Comment: 25-JAN-25 - Note - Finder mentioned that dog would bark at him at first but once leash he enjoys pets. Finder did mention that he believes that dog good w. all people but shows preference to women and may need additional training._ARR
