16-MAY-25 - Interact - 05/16/25 11:21 He is completely different cat now he is in the office. He is making full use of the space exploring every corner. He likes to play with the toys on offer and enjoy time looking out the window. After a few days he allowed s me to pet him and he enjoys it. He still hisses a lot more territorial than anything else. Getting more comfortable with strangers in the room.

17-APR-25 - Interact - Cosmo grabbed the treat tool that staff was holding and began to indulge in it. Upon eating, Cosmo swatted the tool own and grabbed it with his mouth, flinging it into his kennel. Cosmo then stood over the tool to finish it then began hissing at the staff member. Another staff member came and assisted getting the tool as the original staff member distracted Cosmo. JB (4/17/2025)

14-APR-25 - Interact - 04/14/25 09:55 Cosmo was laying in the middle section of his kennel when staff approached. He immediatley began to hiss and lunged forward to swat at the door when they got closer. Staff ended the interaction as to not increase FAS. -ZM

31-MAR-25 - Interact - 03/31/25 12:04 Staff member approached kennel and Cosmo started to hiss. Staff attempted to open the kennel door and get a new picture but Cosmo started to spit, growl, swat, and hiss. Staff left Cosmo alone to prevent further FAS. -SL

28-FEB-25 - Interact - 02/28/25 17:24 Cosmo can be found laying in his middle condo or hiding in a cubby, he does not allow staff to pet him and will hiss and raise his paw to swat when staff attempt to open the area of his kennel he is in. Staff has not attempted to pet him due to these interactions.

Please be advised that the County will maintain copies of all medical records produced while the pet was in the County’s care and custody and may release them to the public, if requested.
