15-JUN-25 - Interact - 06/15/25 Per volunteer: Bluebell was easy to leash and walked without pulling to the play yard. She had excellent leash manners! In the yard, she loved throwing the stuffed toys around and also chasing after them as I threw them. A shelter employee came into the yard and Bluebell was very affectionate towards her. She also rolled over for belly rubs. Bluebell knew how to give her paw to “shake.” She went back to her kennel easily and was lots of fun to be with.

10-JUN-25 - Note - 06/10/25 15:15: Returned because she is territorial against the resident dog. Did not bite, but the adopter mentioned that she "nipped" at the resident dog to show dominance. Did well with adults and children. She loves treats and pets. Had 1 accident in the house. She would signal at the door when she wanted to go outside.

15-MAY-25 - Foster - 05/15/25 11:51 Event Adventure Tail: Bluebell was so excited for a car ride she was bouncing all over the back seat and trying to catch the wind in her face. She liked sticking her head out for sunshine. I seatbelted her luckily or she might accidentally get out an open car window as she enjoyed standing on the window frame to look out. The seatbelt kept her from going farther though. We stopped for a pup cup on our way to the event and she loved it. She sat good waiting for the treat and ate it gently. She hopped in and out of my car herself. She walked well on the leash and sniffed all the sniffs. She was good with the other dogs at the event and played with a stuffed toy. She took treats from all the people carefully and gently. She gave her paw and solicited belly rubs from many women. She seems selective of men and is a bit wary of sudden movements/unexpected noises. It could be an over abundance of stimulation all at once but she enjoyed walking around and checking people out. She did bark and try to chase a bicyclist and a Segway with men on them. I think she likes chasing moving things or maybe it's wheeled things in motion. We made a quick stop at bass pro and she ignored the other dog we met inside. She did not solicit pets from anyone but did take a slight interest in looking at the fish for a few minutes. She was definitely worn out from her adventurous morning so the car ride home was very different and she laid down the whole time.

22-APR-25 - Interact - 04/22/25 14:17 - When staff was in front of Bluebell’s kennel, she had a loose body and wagging tail. She allowed staff to pet her through the kennel with no issues. As staff walked away a citizen came up to the kennel and Bluebell started off with a loose body, but when they went to put their hand down to her, she began barking and lunging at the fence, but her body was not tense. Staff placed a “meet me in a meet and greet” sign on her kennel. BP

18-APR-25 - Interact - 04/18/25 14:27 Bluebell was easily leashed and walked calmly to my office. She took treats from my hand very gently and would solicit attention by giving you her paw. She let me pet her from head to tail and would rest under my desk when she wasn't getting attention. She does seem a little hesitant when she first see's someone new, but warmed up to everyone in under a minute. She has excellent manners and knows "sit" and "shake". AZ
