13-AUG-25 - Interact - 08/13/25 17:05 was easy to leash minimal pull with loose body posture throughout . In play yard she solicited pets from staff and cruised around play yard. no problems returning to kennel. LM

04-AUG-25 - Behavior - 08/04/25 14:00 Anna was laying inside and would not get up until treats were tossed into the kennel. She slowly came to the door and was easily leashed but did not eat the treats. She walked on loose leash. In the catch pen, she was pet with the leash without reaction. A collar was put on without issue. In the yard, she kept to herself with tense posture. She was not interested in treats. After some time, she approached CR and allowed petting on the head. She slowly wagged her tail when CR squeaked a toy but she did not play with the toys. Anna walked back without issue but would not enter her kennel. CR entered and was able to coax her inside then she was easily unleashed. She took treats through the door gently. -CR

02-AUG-25 - Behavior - 08/01/25 22:00 CR9005 Control pole was utilized during impound due to dog growling, barking lunging and taking a defensive stance with a stiff body. Once at prc, dog began to low growl and present with a stiff body, control pole was used again. 08/02/25 09:52 When approached in the kennel, she appears timid and did not react to being led on a control pole to get vaccines. During triage she was stiff and did slightly growl but she was calm after vaccines and accepted treats eagerly. She is alert and walks on the control pole without issue and is non-reactive to the other dogs -DMC

Please be advised that the County will maintain copies of all medical records produced while the pet was in the County’s care and custody and may release them to the public, if requested.
