12-MAY-26 - Interact - 05/12/26 When retrieving Diamond from the kennel for playgroup, she was jumping at the door. The volunteer had to step in to leash her on the harness and she was reactive to dogs on the way to the yard. In the catch pen, Diamond kept rolling over every time the volunteer went to remove the clip leash so it was left on her. -CR

08-MAY-26 - Interact - 5/6/26 Per volunteer: I was able to place the leash on the harness clip and Diamond came out pretty fast. She had a moderate pull along the way to the yard and moved toward a couple of the dogs. Out in the yard, she allowed for all pets from head to tail. At times, she would roll around on her back. She is treat-motivated and knows how to sit for and accept treats gently. She seemed to enjoy licking whipped cream off of a plate. She chased after and ran around the yard with the ball a few times. On the return, Diamond was quite reactive and pulled very heavily towards the dogs in their kennels. It took me a couple of attempts to unleash her from her harness.

27-APR-26 - Interact - 04/27/26 15:58 Diamond was easily leashed and walked with little to no pull out to Jagger yard, but did jump up a couple times on the walk. She was transferred to a drag leash for length, and she was very wiggly and would jump up while gently mouthing, which made transfer difficult. Diamond sprinted out to the yard and was briefly interested in toys before sniffing around. She solicited pets and laid on her back for belly rubs. Diamond was interested in a passing dog and gave small "boof"s with loose body, her ears up and tail wagging. Diamond walked by other dogs on the way back to her kennel without paying any attention to them--hair raised on her tail when she passed by Snooker (D54 A2499358). Diamond was hesitant to reenter her kennel, walked into it once SB entered, but then did try to door dart. Once unleashed and locked in, Diamond accepted Pupperoni gently. -SB

24-APR-26 - Interact - 04/24/26 A volunteer was unable to attach a clip leash to Diamonds' harness while in the kennel due to her pushing at the door. Diamond was shut inside then the volunteer entered the outside kennel and staff let Diamond outside once the door was secured. Diamond was gator rolling several times with the slip leash and harness on and got tangled up in the leashes. The volunteer was eventually able to get the leashes untangled and walk her to playgroup. While in playgroup, Diamond walked well on the slip leash. When walked with the harness, Diamond started gator rolling and biting the leash. -JS

23-APR-26 - Interact - Diamond had positive body posture as Staff began to unlock her kennel door. Diamond shot out of the kennel but was caught by Staff instantly and leashed. She walked fine to the yard and often turned to Staff to pounce on them. Once in the yard, she took time to walk around and relieve herself before approaching. She allowed Staff to pet her all over and had no issue being picked up. She was went back and forth recieving affection and eating grass. She was returned to her kennel without issue. JB 4/23/2026

15-APR-26 - Interact - 04/15/26 14:05 Diamond was at the front of her kennel when staff approached. She was easy to leash and walked out of her kennel with a strong pull. She began to cough, so staff attempted to transition her to a field harness, to which she gator rolled. Staff stopped their attempt at the feild harness and continued to walk her to the scent garden on the slip lead, where she was coughed and gagged until she was there. In the scent garden, Diamond was switched to a leash attatched to her martingale collar. She sniffed around, and approached staff with a loose wiggly body, an wide relaxed smile. Diamond allowed pets on her head and neck. Diamond was walked back to her kennel using the leash attached to her martingale collar, to which she continued to cough. She was easy to unleash. MM

Diamond was a easy leash and when out of kennel preceded to jump in the air in excitement. Ignored dogs when leaving the kennel but did pull on leash causing coughing. In the play yard, Diamond showed curiosity to citizens, approaching women and child first before the male citizen. She did not initially taking any treats from citizens until time has passed and became more comfortable. for the first five minutes had submissive and timid body language towards citizen but showed comfortable body language when staff was near. Staff was able to call diamond over to meet citizens and showed affection to women citizen giving kiss and a loose tail wag. Citizen were then able to give treats and affection to Diamond. She engaged in play with male citizen, fetching the ball but when he approach her from front alone she showed slight fear, tucking tail, flat ears and crouched body slightly. when male citizen moved away her body returned to loose and she returned to staff willingly. 25-MAR-26 - Interact - 03/25/26 10:39 Diamond was already at the gate when staff approached. She had a loose body posture and wagging tail. She was easy to leash and walked with heavy pull to the yard. In the yard she ran around energetically. She then began jumping up on the fence and attempted to jump out of the yard. The staff then took her for a walk around the parking lot. She walked with a mild pull and sniffed around. When returning her to her kennel, she backed up and refused to go in. Staff threw treats into the kennel and she still did not want to go in. After a few times of staff crouching down and baby talking, she eventually went into the kennel. -ZM

23-MAR-26 - Interact - 03/23/26 11:14 Diamond was trembling on her bed when I approached her kennel. She did not come to kennel front for treats or with verbal prompting. I opened the kennel and presented the leash which she continued to ignore- staying on her bed trembling with tail tucked and ears back. I spoke to her softly and moved closer to her in a crouched position, her ears perked up and body softened slightly. She allowed me to leash her and as soon as the leash was on she stood and walked with me to the yard. In the yard she relaxed herself then paced and exit searched. I brought her into the office- once inside she was immediately attention seeking with loose body posture with both myself and other staff member in office, jumping on our laps and rolling over on her back. She allowed me to place a collar on her, again with loose body and continued to push into me for petting while I secured the collar. When left alone in the office she attempted to push out and tried to jump the gate. Unable to be left alone so she was returned to kennel without issue. -NMS
