Comment: 10-JUN-26 - Interact - 06/10/26 13:08 Striker was sitting calmly in the exterior portion of his kennel and began doing little hops once staff approached. He was easy to leash and walked with no pull to the yard. In the yard he roamed around for a while and then approached staff. He solicited pets all over his back with loose posture. Striker walked over to the small pool and laid down in it for a bit before exiting and getting slight zoomies. He picked up a toy and held onto it for the remainder of his time out. He accepted more pets from staff and took treats gently. He walked back to his kennel on a loose leash and was unleashed with no issues. -JG
Comment: 07-JUN-26 - Interact - 05/29/26 14:07 Per Volunteer: Striker was sleeping soundly in his inside kennel and didn't wake-up when I approached. I went inside and Striker got up promptly and he was easy to leash and he walked well out of the kennel, with minimal pull and showing no reactivity toward other dogs. Striker was very friendly with both volunteers and would stand still for periods of time receiving pets. He was treat-motivated and knew how to sit for and accept treats gently. He licked whipped cream off of a plate. Toward the end of the visit, he started chasing after and playing with a couple of the fluffy toys. A dog in an adjoining yard approached the fence and Striker started moving toward him slowly. We were able to easily distract him away. He was easy to return to and unleash in his kennel. - CL

In the yard, Striker hung out next to staff. He hopped in the staff members lap and allowed all petting and handling. Striker sat on command. There were no issues returning to the kennel. - NS
